This is a really interesting artifact. A notification that the cover price of the magazine is about to go up in the next issue, which is the first price increase since Heavy Metal went quarterly in 1986. The discussion over which feature will appear in later issues is moot – Strip Tease will end with the next issue (spoilers) and Dossier will not return. And the Chain Mail feature that will be coming back never actually appears, either. The only promise made on this page that’s actually kept is the one about the price increase.
