This strip started as a straightforward riff on the over-merchandising of dinosaurs, but on the second page, it got weird. Actual dinosaurs turn up and the whole thing turns into a “dad, can I have one?” story.

It’s actually pretty interesting that the whole thing seems to have been illustrated in pastels on brown paper. You can actually see a white stripe at the bottom of the page where it wasn’t quite big enough for publication in an American-sized magazine.
