The young man is Merlin at the age of 17. The story is about him encountering an almost abandoned castle. The only two occupants are a pair of sisters who try to seduce Merlin before their father – Satan – shows up. Their father is upset and chases Merlin away. Here, at the end, we are reminded that Merlin was actually meant to be Satan’s son.
