A couple of design notes that drive me crazy.

First, the discrepancy in fonts is nuts. We’ve all read this PowerPoint slide.

Second, if you look on the left edge, you can see where the text bends into the perfect binding. Chances are very good that this was laid out on a computer with no real inkling that the edges would disappear into the crease. You can see it throughout magazines of this period. More maddening is that the right margin is comfortably away from the trim and could have been nudged a bit more towards the edge.
