What makes this story great is the difference in art styles between the top of the page and the bottom of the page. Throughout the story, the stylized work that looks like engravings occupies the top of the page and a sequence occupies the bottom part of the page. The story itself is better conceptually than in actual execution, but those broad panels at the top of every page are clearly where the effort went.
