The premise here is that this woman decides that the fastest way to get attention is to strip naked for the photographers and film crews hanging out waiting for famous actresses to show up, which is where that joke in the last panel comes from.

It’s a pretty insidious concept, which Manara glosses over in favor of his trademark “look, naked woman getting naked in public” visuals. It’s too bad that he didn’t do more to unpack the impulse that led her to take these actions.

At any rate, Manara’s art is always fun to look at. I like how the close up in the second panel makes it seem like she doesn’t have a nose.
