It’s tough to read, but the last letter on the right side is a savage critique of one of the stories from previous issues. The response calls the letter “thought provoking” and doesn’t really answer the issues. As usual.
Midway through the editorial on the left side, there’s a mention of Eastman’s wife, along with a name – Julie. Something I never noticed before was that he was married to Julie Strain, which explains why there has been so much material advertising her in Heavy Metal over the years.
