Since the FAKK movie was announced in 1997, Eastman has gotten increasingly frustrated by the progress of making a film – if the notes in his editorials are anything to go by. Here, he publishes the background paintings that have been developed to date. It’s an interesting approach because it teases the readers and drums up interest, but at the expense of spoiling any surprises associated with the settings.
This picture is the most arresting in the bunch, mostly due to the predictability of where the entrance is located on the statue.
