The story throws some pretty heavy stuff at the audience in a fairly cavalier fashion. People get decapitated and chopped in half and all manner of gruesome fates. But that pales next to the treatment that captive women take throughout the story. This is probably the worst.

Julie’s sister Karrie is captured early on and the implication is that she is passed around the army as a sex toy. This page makes that explicit by presenting her tied to a rack and surrounded by men who have been supervising her gang rape. One can only hope that this was edited out of later drafts of the screenplay.
