Caza has always been, to me, an enigmatic artist. His realist style really gave weight to his early psychedelic stories. When I find more generic material like this, I have a hard time reconciling the fact that they were drawn by the same artist. But the realist elements are very realist, and he really wears his Moebius influences on his sleeve.

One of the things that this story does very well is the use of color and light to set the mood and indicate location. The color of the woman’s hair also contrasts against the background, making her easy to spot in the long shot.

It’s also interesting how many inset panels are in this particular page. It gives a visual impression of activity without really committing to a specific sequence or timeframe.
