If you look carefully at the second caption on the first page, you can see that it indicates how these two pages should be laid out. Clearly, who ever laid out this story didn’t read the caption, because these two pages were printed back to back, not as the intended two page spread. I can understand getting the layout wrong when you’re not sure about how the spreads should be laid out, but when the instructions are right there…?
