That middle panel is one of the most creative depictions of sex I’ve ever seen.

However, these two characters met because she was tied up and just about to be sexually assaulted by three guys. And this man saved her. I guess that having sex is one way to thank someone from saving you from being gang raped, but it strains plausibility.

Also, note the placement of the word balloons in the middle and last panels. There are still some things that Heavy Metal feels that it cannot show, and erections are always on that list.
