This was a slight little story about death passing down the mantle from an old woman to a young maiden who has been waiting. Then the old woman curls up and dies peacefully – the first person who dies under the watch of new death.

All of which made it kind of odd that it showed up in Heavy Metal of all places. But then I saw this page, with the implied nudity and I went “oh yeah.”
