This story has a very stylized impressionist style that makes it feel like a movie adaptation from the 50s. The center tier is pretty much the only place in the story where the effects of comics are used well – the electroshock therapy that she’s getting for her uncontrolled nyphomania fuzzes into sensation on the right side of the panel. There is an attempt to tell the reader that the sexual personality has been split into another person, but the art doesn’t carry its share of the story.
