This is a serious departure from most of Altuna’s work in Heavy Metal – most of which is usually sexually oriented. The format stays the same throughout the story – beautifully executed realistic greyscale washes with a caption to the side. The story itself is about a series of people who decide to shoot each other over long-running beefs, all of which come together in the grocery store.
