One of the things that Altuna does very well is the twist ending. Here, we spend several pages lovingly dedicated to the sexual encounter that this wife has with a creditor, which is presented as the payoff to a very daring, sexually liberated idea she presents to her husband. But the joke at the end is that there are many, many more creditors that she’s going to have to pay off in the same way. It’s not clear from the ending whether she’s into it or not, but her business partner certainly is.
