It was at about this point in the story that I started to realize that this series (with chapters all named after colors) is built on and driven by dream logic. One thing happens and then another thing. Most of the stories in this magazine have been powered by the same energy source. As with dreams, it is the images that remain vivid, not the details of how and why. For example: that’s a hell of a crowd scene.

Also of note: the little caption/pointers translating the French signs drawn into the original story. It’s novel and cute, but also practical – elegant, even.
