As a strange sort of anniversary event, Heavy Metal devoted 30 pages in the back of this issue to a sub-magazine called Paradise 9. They got several different artists to contribute pieces and loosely stitched them together into a disjointed narrative. You can tell that you’re still inside the story because of the Paradise 9 corner tag.
