An early Enki Bilal piece in his transition period from Moebius impersonator to his more recognizable later style. This story is about a famous mercenary who lands on this abandoned planet to hide his treasure (as related in panel 2). Unfortunately, he discovers that the planet starts producing clones of him, which are all argumentative and heavily armed. Chaos ensues.

In my mind, this is a kissing cousin to Alan Moore’s Green Lantern story Mogo Doesn’t Socialize, which is also about a famous mercenary on an abandoned planet. Two stories make up a genre, right?
