Another entry in the series of illustrated novels that Heavy Metal has been publishing for some time. This adaptation of Ellison’s work suffers from poor production – several pages have dark backgrounds that make the black type illegible. It does have an encephalitic baby riding a giant alligator in the sewer, which sort of makes it okay. Until you get to the next page, where you find out that there is an entire city of them. That’s kinda weird.
