This is a very faint image, but I don’t think it’s faded in the years since it was published; I just think that the story was printed very faintly. In any case, this dining room with numberically jumbled seating arrangements, was the most arresting image in the story. The atrium is nice and airy and I really wonder what kind of sounds that piano makes.
