Backstory: our man picked up a hitchhiker, who just happened to be a female gorilla with a black eye. They were pursued by her boyfriend, a very large gorilla. (No, really.) To escape, they joined a procession of sea turtle/automobiles on their way to laying eggs on the beach.

And so they get home, with a clutch of eggs. And the punchline at the end, where the gorilla keeps showing up to see when he’ll get home.

So yeah, add a dash of domestic violence to a hefty spoonful of implied racial stereotypes. Not the greatest story that Boucq has ever done, but the little turtle cars are pretty cute.
