This scene is actually really interesting. The guy with the wires coming out of his head is a design copied directly from Serpieri’s Druuna period. When I realized that, the rest of the story clicked into place for me. It’s Azpiri covering a generic Serpieri story, with less hardcore sex but all of the consent issues. It’s more coherent than a Serpieri story, at any rate.
