So Cain kills his brother and spends pages wandering the Earth. And then he comes to an old man, who gives him a vision of angels and devils. It’s very pretty, but the lack of visual cues makes me wonder what order to read the words in. Without context, it could very well be that all of these things are happening simultaneously.
