Howard Chaykin illustrating Samuel Delaney sounds like a better concept than it actually is. The three broad panels, though, really give a widescreen effect to the comic. The nod towards word balloons are a positive enhancement that makes this adaptation better than the text + images effort that most of the adaptations have been to date.
