Yves Chaland is best known for establishing the Atomic Style, a derivative of Herge’s clear line style of cartooning. We can see a four panel clear line strip at the bottom of this page, but the rest of it is some kind of hybrid with copious crosshatching, some pop-art elements and no dialogue whatsoever.

Running across this obvious experiment by such a famous stylist is really interesting and shows off a range that I didn’t know he had.
