This silent sequence of a convertible landing on the surface of the Earth from orbit was repurposed wholesale for the Heavy Metal movie. One of the interesting storytelling tricks that the artist uses is turning the bottom of the panels in the left column into downward chevrons that point out which direction the reader’s attention should go next.
