Howard Chaykin’s adaptation of Bester’s story continues. The blocks of text interspersed with Chaykin’s artwork isn’t the most effective presentation, but Chaykin does pull off some nice tricks. I like the crowd scene at the bottom of the first page in particular. The giant pixelated naked man on the facing page is very interesting, especially when you consider that it was done in an age before Photoshop.
