I honestly believed that I was the first person to come up with the idea of using barcodes instead of words in a comic. As it turns out, Rick Veitch was ahead of me by decades.

Incidentally, this issue features work by Veitch, Bissette and Totleben – all artists that really got famous for their work on Swamp Thing with Alan Moore.
