The art here is just this side of deliberately terrible, but the interesting part is how the head with a giant hole in it somehow manages to keep talking. Of all the mediums, this works best in comics. But the creator really doesn’t do anything with the concept except present it with a straight face. Or maybe the rest of the humor in the story is so broad and over the top that something that subtle almost doesn’t register as a joke – more like an error of some kind.
