This is one of the better stories I’ve read in these pages recently. This page in particular is fantastic. On the previous page, we saw this same woman introduce herself to a collector and pose next to a painting that was made of her to prove who she is. On this page, we get exactly the same story beats, but silent. And the lack of text arguably makes for a stronger piece of sequential storytelling.
