It’s always amusing when ads for stereo equipment and stereo accessories pop up in the inside front cover (it’s usually the inside front cover, for some reason). Here, the new-fangled cassette tape techology leaders have a lot to say to Heavy Metal readers, including a note that TDK tapes have a lifetime warranty. Of course, I’m amused by this ad because I’d be hard-pressed to actually find a tape deck to play a TDK tape on – dead media ads are the best.
