This is the cover page to Corben’s adaptation of Robert Howard’s Bloodstar. It’s somewhat misleading because this month’s installment is just the setup – how a rogue star (the bloodstar that gives the series its name) caused the collapse of civilization and made everyone go back to hitting each other with swords instead of using ambient-technology-agnostic AK-47s, which would probably be more likely, if visually less interesting. Hopefuly, later installments will have more of Corben’s trademark half-dressed violent characters.
