The most interesting thing here is not the ad for reprints of The Spirit (although it is interesting to note that Heavy Metal has achieved enough respectability that Eisner is willing to take a chance on these readers). It’s the guy in the bottom left corner who is nitpicking the Corben stories, asking why incidental details were changed – answered by Corben himself. Comic fans have been complaining in the comments for a long, long time.
