It’s obvious that Chaykin really enjoyed playing with the full page layout – even the relatively autonomous second panel gets interrupted by the curl of hair in the middle of the page. The color scheme is just about the worst part of the composition. The main character’s coat can be charitably described as baby poop brown and the oranges tend to dominate. It’s still fun to watch him noodle around, though.
