The coda of the Richard Corben interviews was a full page letter from Richard Corben himself, rebutting the presentation of the interview. Most of the criticisms he makes in the letter are pretty spot on – Bob Balfour is not the best interviewer. His interviews with Moebius and Druillet were not all that good and he seemed interested in asking Corben questions that probed into “why do you draw big breasted women?” and “do you think of yourself as Den?” Both of which produced subdued answers and a not very interesting exchange.

Corben does point out in the letter that he considers himself very boring and doesn’t care if he comes across as exciting or not, which is a good thing because he doesn’t. All in all, an interesting culmination to the whole saga.

The editorial that shares the page is about how the Clash played a big show in New York, almost like the editor was trying to be flippant – “oh, that over there?”
