The gallery section usually showcased artists that were relatively unknown to the general magazine audience. It’s possible to make the argument that Druillet was unknown to the people who’d picked up the magazine after seeing the movie (which came out the month before), but long-time readers knew who he was.

The two pieces here are from Salambo (top) and the French cover of Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix (bottom).
