This double page spread handles the approach of the shuttle very elegantly. One of the more interesting things about the series of two-page spreads that make up the story is that Steranko is very obviously making an attempt to mix up how the story is laid out. The entire story feels like an active interrogation of what other approaches work. Some do, many don’t. But even the failures are interesting on their own merits.
