Another story with a twist ending, the conceit is that a group of robots were having a squalid little domestic drama, chasing after each other’s robot wives and thinking deep, existential thoughts. The twist is, of course, that these robots were actually acting in a play for a group of aliens (depicted in the top panel). This is not the worst twist ending I’ve seen in these pages, but almost none of the twists have been very good, which makes me wonder why they did so many of them – perhaps they simply didn’t know how to end their stories?
