This article would have been interesting to me at the time of publication because I was unaware (at the time) that Magnus Robot Fighter was such an old property. It’s interesting to me now because I first became aware of the property when it was relaunched by Valiant Comics. This article does not actually mention Valiant by name, but it does mention the company that Valiant became – Acclaim Comics. But wikipedia tells me that Acclaim closed in 2005 and reverted to Valiant by the time the article came out. Weird.
