Those six inset panels in the second tier are interesting. They do a great job of showing the boredom of the main character as he contemplates the scene in front of him.

Also, the way the panel border in the bottom left corner of the page wraps around the leg of the character is very nice. In a story that’s as much of a hot mess as this is, the little things are worth holding on to.
