This page is fantastic right up until the last panel, where it goes over a cliff. In theory, providing a panel from the next scene at the end of a page like this can be a really interesting approach. However, that’s severely undercut by the lack of an Oxford comma in the last sentence – to hysterical effect.

Frankly, it’s pretty typical of this story. The art is fantastic and there are some real flashes of good storytelling that slam right into a wall of “what?” On a page-by-page basis, it’s not bad, but it doesn’t really cohere as a whole. Which is a shame.
