As single-page retellings of Shakespeare plays go, this was actually pretty clear and got across the plot of Two Gentlemen of Verona quite nicely. What’s interesting to note, however, is that this strip is credited to someone that is neither Walt Simonson or Howard Chaykin. Does that mean that the strip wasn’t really theirs or were they so busy this month that they had to hand it off to meet a contractual obligation? I’m sure that it was nothing that complicated, but it’s still a fun mystery.
