This is the first chapter in the serial Freak Show. Wrightson combines the thin line crosshatching style that he perfected with his adaptation of Frankenstein with color to produce some amazing results. The rain effect, for example, is quite nice and really adds to the atmosphere of dread anticipation that the townspeople are steeped in.
