In this story, Caza has drifted away from his photorealist soft hippy style into a more angular stylized line. In many ways, this looks like Caza’s Moebius period – a lot of artists from the period imitated Moebius at one time or another. While that imitation helped artists like Enki Bilal, it was not entirely to Caza’s benefit – his native art style is beautiful and very unique. This angular work pushed Caza into P Craig Russell territory – not necessarily a bad thing, just not what I prefer to see from him.
