As far as I can tell, the boxes reading “CENSORED” were included by the artist, not the publication. But there’s something very sly and witty about interspersing them with scenes of over-the-top ultraviolence. Almost like violence is okay, but sexuality isn’t. It’s not a great story on the whole, but this aspect is certainly worth noting.
