This is the first time I’ve seen any ads for Japanese robots in this publication. One of the things that’s interesting to note is Voltron – second from the right in the bottom row. This issue came out almost two years before Voltron was syndicated on American television so it was still appropriate for pseudo-underground audiences who were interested in weird stuff from abroad.
