The conclusion to the Freak Show story, this giant splash page really shows off Wrightson’s artistic chops. In the previous pages, we see the revelation that not all of the freaks were killed in the fire set by the main character and the woman that he has been proposing to for most of the previous episode is actually his daughter. The penultimate pages in this episode referenced her surgical skills, which resulted in this craziness.

I like the fact that the audience depicted on the left page of the splash provide the reaction that the reader is meant to emulate. Also, look at the rain!
