This is a great three page sequence – Druillet is well-known for treating individual pages as if they were giant panels. It’s not obvious from the first page that this is actually a sex scene, but it becomes very obvious by the second page and, if you are not entirely sure, the erect penises on the bottom corners of the last page really give the game away.

As usual, the best part of Druillet’s pages are the color. I saw something recently that posited that Brendan McCarthy “draws with color,” which is something that he absolutely learned from Druillet’s work.
