The main letter in the middle column attempts to take the publication to task regarding their recent tendency to put more sexy women on the cover than they have in the past. Interspersed into the text of the letter are a series of comments by Lou Stathis, who points out that the cover for the April 1982 issue sold 15,000 more copies than the cover to the May 1982 issue.

One of the letters in the third column talks about all of the fine actors and musicians and artists that have died and, in doing so, enriched the artistic environment of the afterworld. In the post script, the letter writer asks “When are you going to send us Steranko? He’s long past due, you know.” The letter is signed Reed Crandall, a comic book artist who died of a heart attack following a long illness in September of 1982.
